Dawn is our amazing voice teacher who’s full of music and excitement. 

Originally from Spokane Washington, Dawn has been a music educator and performer in the Reno/Sparks area for over 30 years.

A University of Nevada graduate she studied flute, and received her degree in Music Education. 

Most recently she received her MEd from Lesley University, specializing in integrated arts in education.

Dawn enjoys performing in a variety of musical, cultural and arts genres, including the UNR Wind Ensemble, the University Flute Ensemble, Sierra Nevada Balalaika Ensemble and the International Folkloric Ballet. She enjoys exploring far beyond her formal training into Jazz and Gypsy, Blues, Bluegrass and beyond.

She is available at the MMP for private vocal lessons in technique and performance for all ages, as well as group workshops concerning a variety of vocal genres, approaches, performance and song writing.
