Concerts & Events!

There’s a secret hide-away for music lovers tucked deep inside a little unassuming music shop.

Located 4,4oo feet above sea level, a smallish city called Reno (ˈriːnoʊ/ REE-noh) sits in the High Eastern Sierra foothills, in the Truckee River valley surrounded by pine treed majestic mountains on one side and wild horse, sage sprinkled hills on the other.  A relatively fertile high desert land, once home to the Paiute, Washoe and Western Shoshone Indians, now bustling with international business’s, miles of concrete, sprawling developments and jingling neon clad casinos, Reno has it all …

Including a special stage where Top Shelf artists come to share their souls, to play their stories.

Made expressly for presenting Traditional and Folk music artists of merit and heritage value, concerts inside Heritage Hall command the admiration of music connoisseurs and culture enthusiasts alike.  Always an amazing experience!
Congratulations ~You’ve found the treasure!

Going a bit off-shore!

Solo concert with award winning Singer/Songwriter Nigel Wearne.
Hailing from Gunditjmara country in the deep south of Australia, help us welcome Nigel to Reno!
A concert yes, but It’s not about his musicianship, guitar, acoustic slide, piano, banjo and pump organ, nor his voice,,,,it’s about his message. The tales of histories trail of mankind.
With lyricism and poetry at the forefront, Nigels music is telling. He’s got the accolades, the awards, the starry lists enough to fill a boat, but above all that is the thinker, the truth seeker with a penchant for all things peculiar. He sings of human frailty, grace and the cosmos; songwriting with a monolithic crooning and cut to the bone.
Imagine a dark jazz club, the meeting of Ennio Morricone, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Rickie Lee Jones,,,a musty dose of soul, blues, jazz and Americana-noir.

It hits differently.
Pleasant to the feel in a musty way only Nigel can deliver.

Stillhouse Junkies in the house!

bluegrass musicians

Acoustic adventurers Stillhouse Junkies explore the worlds between roots,
bluegrass, Texas swing, blues, and rock. Their free-flowing musical interplay
and improvisation make every show unique as they weave their way through
high-energy, intricately composed original songs, never taking the same path
twice.
Based in the Southwestern Colorado town of Durango, the trio consists of
founder Fred Kosak on guitar and mandolin, longtime member Alissa Wolf on
fiddle, and Jeanette Adams on upright bass.
Formed in 2017, Stillhouse Junkies have released four full-length albums. Their
most recent effort, 2025’s The Ballad of Charlie Avalon, is an ambitious
concept album featuring narration by newgrass icon Sam Bush. The band has
also released a series of singles featuring collaborations with the legendary
Tim O’Brien, renowned fiddler Ross Holmes, and popular songwriter Rachel
Baiman.
As they tour relentlessly across the United States and abroad, Stillhouse
Junkies are gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting bands in the
acoustic music scene. They have played such beloved festivals as Grey Fox
Bluegrass Festival, Rockygrass, MerleFest, and ROMP, and their busy
schedule has seen them supporting Willi Carlisle, The Lil Smokies, Yonder
Mountain String Band, and Asleep at the Wheel. Their prolific songwriting,
tight vocal harmonies, and blistering instrumentals earned them the
prestigious International Bluegrass Music Association’s “Momentum Band of
the Year” award in 2021.
Join us in this Americana experiment and be the one to say you SAW
Stillhouse Junkies BEFORE they were huge!
