Ryan Sharrer teaches “Old Time” banjo (also known as “Clawhammer” or “Frailing”) with proficiency and grace. From young to adults, his students get the real deal with his patient nature. He assists in hosting the Old-time JAM at the Parlor, does outreach programs with schools, as well as being an MMP Ad Board member.
Ryan has been active in the bluegrass and old time music community for many years. Long time picker in two area favorite local bands, “Six Mule Pile-Up” and “The Road Apples”. His newest band venture is Squirrel Heads and Gravy.
